Kathmandu: The Nepal Rastra Bank has set the foreign exchange rates for today (Friday). According to the determined rates, the buying rate of one US dollar is NPR 147.92 and the selling rate is NPR 148.52.
Similarly, the buying rate of one Euro is NPR 169.69 and the selling rate is NPR 170.37. The UK Pound Sterling has a buying rate of NPR 196.39 and a selling rate of NPR 197.19, while the Swiss Franc has a buying rate of NPR 185.91 and a selling rate of NPR 186.66.
The Australian Dollar has a buying rate of NPR 104.11 and a selling rate of NPR 104.54. The Canadian Dollar is set at NPR 107.68 for buying and NPR 108.12 for selling, while the Singapore Dollar has a buying rate of NPR 115.27 and a selling rate of NPR 115.74.
For Asian currencies, 10 Japanese Yen have a buying rate of NPR 9.30 and a selling rate of NPR 9.34. The Chinese Yuan has a buying rate of NPR 21.44 and a selling rate of NPR 21.52. The Saudi Arabian Riyal is set at NPR 39.40 for buying and NPR 39.56 for selling, while the Qatari Riyal has a buying rate of NPR 40.57 and a selling rate of NPR 40.74.
According to the central bank, the Thai Baht has a buying rate of NPR 4.50 and a selling rate of NPR 4.52. The UAE Dirham has a buying rate of NPR 40.28 and a selling rate of NPR 40.44, the Malaysian Ringgit has a buying rate of NPR 37.55 and a selling rate of NPR 37.70, and 100 South Korean Won have a buying rate of NPR 9.86 and a selling rate of NPR 9.90. The Swedish Krona is set at NPR 15.73 for buying and NPR 15.79 for selling, while the Danish Krone has a buying rate of NPR 22.71 and a selling rate of NPR 22.80.
The bank has also set the Hong Kong Dollar at NPR 18.88 for buying and NPR 18.96 for selling. The Kuwaiti Dinar has a buying rate of NPR 482.45 and a selling rate of NPR 484.41, the Bahraini Dinar has a buying rate of NPR 391.79 and a selling rate of NPR 393.38, and the Omani Riyal has a buying rate of NPR 384.21 and a selling rate of NPR 385.77.
Similarly, the buying rate for 100 Indian Rupees is NPR 160, and the selling rate is NPR 160.15. The central bank has stated that these exchange rates may be revised at any time as necessary. It has also noted that commercial banks may have slightly different rates, and updated rates are available on the central bank’s official website.
