Kathmandu:The prices of gold and silver have continued to decline in the local market today. The price of gold has decreased by Rs. 12,500 per tola, while silver has fallen by Rs. 355.
According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of hallmark gold has been fixed at Rs. 282,000 per tola today, while the price of silver stands at Rs. 4,540 per tola.
Last Friday, the price of hallmark gold was Rs. 294,500 per tola, and silver was priced at Rs. 4,895 per tola. On the previous day, gold was traded at Rs. 302,300 per tola, and silver at Rs. 5,010 per tola.
According to international media reports, in the global market today, gold is being traded at USD 4,500 per ounce, while silver is trading at USD 68 per ounce.
