Kathmandu: Nepal Rastra Bank has set the foreign exchange rates for today, with the US dollar, UK pound sterling, and Swiss franc showing an increase.
The buying rate for one US dollar has been fixed at NPR 150.07 and the selling rate at NPR 150.67. Similarly, the euro stands at NPR 173.53 (buying) and NPR 174.23 (selling), while the pound sterling is NPR 200.50 (buying) and NPR 201.30 (selling).
Other currencies such as the Australian dollar, Canadian dollar, Singapore dollar, Japanese yen, Chinese yuan, Saudi riyal, and Qatari riyal have also been listed with respective rates.
The central bank stated that exchange rates may be revised as necessary and may differ slightly from those set by commercial banks.
