Kathmandu :The Nepal Rastra Bank has set the . According to the fixed rates, the value of the US dollar has slightly decreased, while the Euro, UK Pound Sterling, and Swiss Franc have increased.
As per the fixesd exchange rates, the buying rate of one US dollar has been fixed at NPR 149.89 and the selling rate at NPR 150.49. Similarly, the buying rate of one Euro stands at NPR 173.77 and the selling rate at NPR 174.47. The UK Pound Sterling has a buying rate of NPR 200.97 and a selling rate of NPR 201.78, while the Swiss Franc is set at a buying rate of NPR 190.42 and a selling rate of NPR 191.18.
The Australian dollar has a buying rate of NPR 104.49 and a selling rate of NPR 104.91. The Canadian dollar is valued at NPR 109.09 for buying and NPR 109.52 for selling, while the Singapore dollar has a buying rate of NPR 117.19 and a selling rate of NPR 117.66.
For Asian currencies, 10 Japanese yen have a buying rate of NPR 9.45 and a selling rate of NPR 9.48. The Chinese yuan has a buying rate of NPR 21.75 and a selling rate of NPR 21.83. The Saudi Arabian riyal stands at NPR 39.93 (buying) and NPR 40.09 (selling), while the Qatari riyal is set at NPR 41.03 (buying) and NPR 41.19 (selling).
According to the central bank, the Thai baht has a buying rate of NPR 4.60 and a selling rate of NPR 4.62. The UAE dirham is valued at NPR 40.80 (buying) and NPR 40.97 (selling), while the Malaysian ringgit stands at NPR 37.88 (buying) and NPR 38.04 (selling). For the South Korean won (per 100 units), the buying rate is NPR 10.01 and the selling rate is NPR 10.05. The Swedish krona has been fixed at NPR 16.08 (buying) and NPR 16.14 (selling), while the Danish krone is set at NPR 23.26 (buying) and NPR 23.35 (selling).
The central bank has also set the Hong Kong dollar at NPR 19.15 (buying) and NPR 19.23 (selling). The Kuwaiti dinar stands at NPR 488.88 (buying) and NPR 490.83 (selling), the Bahraini dinar at NPR 397.01 (buying) and NPR 398.60 (selling), and the Omani riyal at NPR 389.32 (buying) and NPR 390.88 (selling).
Likewise, the exchange rate for Indian currency (INR 100) has been fixed at NPR 160.00 for buying and NPR 160.15 for selling. The central bank has stated that these exchange rates may be revised at any time as necessary. It also noted that the rates set by commercial banks may differ, and updated rates are available on the central bank’s official website.
