Kathmandu — Nepal Rastra Bank has निर्धारित the foreign exchange rates for today. According to the निर्धारित rates, the buying rate for one US dollar has been fixed at NPR 149.10, while the selling rate stands at NPR 149.70.
Similarly, the buying rate for one Euro is NPR 175.59 and the selling rate is NPR 176.29. The buying rate for one UK Pound Sterling is NPR 201.95 and the selling rate is NPR 202.76, while the Swiss Franc has a buying rate of NPR 190.48 and a selling rate of NPR 191.25.
The buying rate for one Australian dollar is NPR 106.41 and the selling rate is NPR 106.83. The Canadian dollar has a buying rate of NPR 108.15 and a selling rate of NPR 108.59, while the Singapore dollar has been set at NPR 117.17 for buying and NPR 117.64 for selling.
For 10 Japanese Yen, the buying rate is NPR 9.38 and the selling rate is NPR 9.42. The Chinese Yuan has a buying rate of NPR 21.86 and a selling rate of NPR 21.95. The Saudi Arabian Riyal has been fixed at NPR 39.74 for buying and NPR 39.90 for selling, while the Qatari Riyal stands at NPR 40.90 for buying and NPR 41.06 for selling.
According to the central bank, the Thai Baht has a buying rate of NPR 4.64 and a selling rate of NPR 4.66. The UAE Dirham is set at NPR 40.59 for buying and NPR 40.76 for selling, while the Malaysian Ringgit has a buying rate of NPR 37.70 and a selling rate of NPR 37.85. The South Korean Won (per 100 units) has a buying rate of NPR 10.09 and a selling rate of NPR 10.13. The Swedish Krona has been fixed at NPR 16.19 for buying and NPR 16.26 for selling, and the Danish Krone at NPR 23.50 for buying and NPR 23.59 for selling.
Likewise, the Hong Kong dollar has a buying rate of NPR 19.03 and a selling rate of NPR 19.11. The Kuwaiti Dinar has been set at NPR 486.70 for buying and NPR 488.66 for selling. The Bahraini Dinar has a buying rate of NPR 395.23 and a selling rate of NPR 396.82, while the Omani Riyal stands at NPR 387.27 for buying and NPR 388.83 for selling. The buying rate for 100 Indian Rupees is NPR 160.00 and the selling rate is NPR 160.15.
The central bank has stated that these exchange rates may be revised at any time as necessary. It has also noted that the rates determined by commercial banks may vary, and updated exchange rates are available on the central bank’s official website.
