Kathmandu – The Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has fixed the foreign exchange rates for Tuesday. According to the central bank, the buying rate for one U.S. dollar has been set at Rs. 151.69, while the selling rate stands at Rs. 152.29.
Similarly, the buying rate for one Australian dollar has been fixed at Rs. 108.87 and the selling rate at Rs. 109.30. The buying rate for one Canadian dollar has been set at Rs. 109.71, with the selling rate at Rs. 110.14.
For the European euro, the buying rate has been determined at Rs. 176.67 and the selling rate at Rs. 177.36. Likewise, the buying rate for one UK pound sterling has been fixed at Rs. 204.24 and the selling rate at Rs. 205.05, according to the central bank.
Nepal Rastra Bank stated that these exchange rates may be revised at any time as necessary. It also noted that exchange rates set by commercial banks may vary slightly and that updated rates are available on the central bank’s website.
