Kathmandu,July o6: The meeting of the National Assembly will be held again today. The meeting obstructed by the lawmakers of the opposition parties, was postponed till today.
The UML obstructed the House yesterday, objecting to Prime Minister Prachanda’s statement that Sardar Pritam Singh had repeatedly gone to Delhi to make him the Prime Minister.
Soon after the beginning of the meeting at 2:31 pm, CPN UML lawmakers obstructed the meeting objecting the recent statement of Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal.
Following the obstruction of the UML lawmakers, the meeting was postponed till 3:01 pm. The Federal Parliament Secretariat issued a notice in order to hold the meeting again at 4:46 pm after the meeting scheduled for 3:01 pm could not take place.
NA Chairperson Ganesh Prasad Timilsina postponed the meeting till 1:01 pm on Thursday after the meeting could not take place on determined time, according to the Federal Parliament Secretariat.
