The western low pressure system is affecting the country at present . Due to the influence of the western low pressure system, there will be light snowfall in some places with partial to normal change in the hilly areas of Far West, Karnali and Gandaki provinces.
The weather is generally clear in Far West, Karnali, and Lumbini provinces and in Gandaki, Bagmati and Himalayan regions of Province 1 with partial to normal change. Some places of East and Central Terai have foggy conditions.
The weather will be partly cloudy to normal in the parts of Sudurpaschim Province, Karnali Province and Lumbini Province and in the hilly areas of Gandaki Province and partly cloudy to clear in the rest of the province In the afternoon. There is a possibility of light snowfall at a few places in the high hilly and mountainous terrains of Sudurpaschim Province, Karnali Province and Gandaki Province and one or two places in the high hilly and mountainous terrains of Bagmati Province and Province 1.
Partly cloudy to normal in Far West, Karnali, Lumbini and Gandaki regions and partly cloudy to clear weather in rest of the region at nigh. There is a possibility of light rain in a few places in the hilly areas of Far West and Karnali Provinces and one or two places in the hilly areas of Lumbini Province. Also, there is a possibility of light snowfall in some places in the high hills and Himalayan areas of Far West, Karnali and Gandaki Provinces.
There will be partial to normal change in the areas of Sudurpaschim Province, Karnali Province and Lumbini Province and the hilly areas of Gandaki Province. Due to the possibility of snowfall and heavy mist/fog in some parts of the Terai . It is possible to affect the daily life, health, road and air traffic . so it is advised to take necessary precautions and caution for next 24 hours on the bulletin of Meteorological Forecasting Division .
